One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Slow Wave could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Nowhere Missile looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Trépigner couldn't come out from behind the leader, Slow Wave.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Slow Wave today. It continued in the lead.



Slow Wave looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Nowhere Missile won the race after a spectacular finish.
