The sun was shining on Eskilstuna and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Champion Du Champagne was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

This is the positions after 500m. Max Momentum, Hear Us March, Betulaceae, Bregor, Criminal Force, Queen Of Québec, Blushing Crystal, Champion Du Champagne. Druid Warrior showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Bregor took the lead after 1000m. Betulaceae didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Sneaky Hyena suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m. driver couldn't keep Blushing Crystal to trotting so they were disqualified.

Max Momentum was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Betulaceae took the lead after 1000m. Bregor didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Queen Of Québec won the race after a spectacular finish.
