One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Quick Bomb. Listening Mountain ended up behind the leader. Nessla Akakabuto got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Radiating Ruby started to galop and lost 10 m.




Poggio Climb saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Quick Bomb looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Nessla Akakabuto couldn't come out from behind the leader, Poggio Climb.




Poggio Climb was still in the lead after 1500m.



Nessla Akakabuto was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Poggio Climb sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Quick Bomb made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Poggio Climb.
