It had been raining for several days at Harstad but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Heavy Valley tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Coffman that came steaming ahead. Holger Opal showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Heavy Valley sprinted to the front.




Heavy Valley was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Coffman accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Coffman kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Coffman looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Heavy Valley won. Coffman came in second. Holger Opal caught third place.
