One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Total Darkness could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Total Darkness was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Total Darkness was still in the lead after 1500m.




Total Darkness kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



With only a little left of the race Slimy Body galoped for 10 m. Carlos Duke showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Total Darkness kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Slimy Body never caught up with Total Darkness who won. Carlos Duke came third.
