It had been raining for several days at Vaasa but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Looking Forward could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 30 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Looking Forward clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Quality Brand galop. Quality Brand lost 10 m. Unknown tried a little too much on the homestretch and Quality Brand started to galopp and lost 40 m. Quality Brand galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.




Happy Satellite won the race after a spectacular finish.
