One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Frosty Grove was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Light Piece, Roffe Opal, Waving Madame, Gargoyle, Staffans Ena Fåle, Flying Attack, Frosty Grove, Wimpy Thought.




Light Piece clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Fosbury Flop accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Wimpy Thought put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



Flying Attack suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Frosty Grove won. Flying Attack came in second. Wimpy Thought caught third place.
