The weather had been good all week and Halmstad was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Tango Uniform. Starstruck Pie ended up behind the leader. Woolly Mammoth got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.

Travelling Diamond clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Travelling Diamond was still in the lead after 1500m.

Travelling Diamond galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Woolly Mammoth were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Amasova never caught up with Mr Suomi who won. Tango Uniform came third.
