Start List
It had been raining for several days at Halmstad but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Phoenix Pegasos sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Sliding Devil was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m. This is the positions after 500m. Carlos Dragon, Call Money, Confident Band, Phoenix Pegasos, Coutrot, Marielle Ametist, Narkissos Dream, Sliding Devil. A bird flew just in front of Black Panther who started to galop and lost 50 m. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Coutrot saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Phoenix Pegasos galloped for 30 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Carlos Dragon gallopped for 50 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Confident Band gallopped for 50 m. Nicolaas Opal galloped for 20 m. With only a little left of the race Rational General galoped for 40 m. Narkissos Dream was first on the homestretch followed by Mon Montée and Coutrot. Coutrot won the race after a spectacular finish. Results
