Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Tingsryd track was in top-condition. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Dufresne could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Frogger was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m. This is the positions after 500m. Donkey On Fire, Kvarngärdets Frans Jaeger, Frogger, Criminal Runner, Gorgeous Box, Hästsmurfen, Black Wave, Nippertippan Opal. Criminal Runner took the lead after 1000m. Hästsmurfen didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Nothing seemed to be able to stop Criminal Runner today. It continued in the lead. Donkey On Fire was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. With only a little left of the race Criminal Runner galoped for 30 m. Donkey On Fire suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead. Hästsmurfen made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Gorgeous Box. Results
