The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Lapua today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Béziers sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Les Rouge Rosier quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Béziers galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Tripping Starshine looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Leeling Klærn Ameste couldn't come out from behind the leader, Les Rouge Rosier.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Les Rouge Rosier followed by Leeling Klærn Ameste and . Lane two Tripping Starshine followed by Béziers and .



Les Rouge Rosier were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Heikki Hietanen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Leeling Klærn Ameste started to galopp and lost 10 m.




Tripping Starshine won. Les Rouge Rosier came in second. Leeling Klærn Ameste caught third place.
