Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Ostende track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Frozen Sword. Belinda Betrouschian Cherry ended up behind the leader. Slippery Pirate got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Ramos The Man suddenly started to galop. Åke Svanstedt had to struggle to get Ramos The Man to tror again and succeded after 40 m. Björn Goop wanted a little to much in the start and Loving Witch galoped for 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Old Tiger, Loving Witch, Frosty Gossip, Slippery Pirate, Gold Superstition, Gorgeous Box, Paradoxial Law, Ramos The Man.

Frosty Gossip sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Slippery Pirate saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

Slippery Pirate didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

With only a little left of the race Gorgeous Box galoped for 20 m. Slippery Pirate were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Loving Witch galop. Loving Witch lost 30 m.

Belinda Betrouschian Cherry made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Paradoxial Law.
