One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rational Man found a gap and took the lead. Hénard followed before Sleepy Sunflower. Vlucht Afwezig galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Rational Man was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Rational Man was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Sleepy Sunflower was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Rational Man today. It continued in the lead.



Rational Man kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Hénard never caught up with Rational Man who won. Punching Bandwith came third.
