One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Clovis found a gap and took the lead. Bianco Colomba followed before Burdet.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Bianco Colomba took the lead after 1000m. Clovis didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Burdet accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Burdet kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Burdet kept the speed the whole finish and won before Clovis and Bianco Colomba.
