One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Quesnel found a gap and took the lead. Speeding Knight followed before Clever Rock.




This is the positions after 500m. Speeding Knight, Narkissos Park, Clever Rock, Quesnel, Tricky Flower, Stay In My Line, , . Stay In My Line started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Speeding Knight clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Narkissos Park galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Speeding Knight followed by Quesnel and Narkissos Park. Lane two Clever Rock followed by Tricky Flower and Stay In My Line.



Speeding Knight were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Speeding Knight kept the speed the whole finish and won before Clever Rock and Quesnel.
