The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Kaukonen this day. The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day. The Awakening took the lead after a very quick start. Harri Koivunen wanted a little to much in the start and Extra Ordinery galoped for 30 m. Tranquil Angel quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Tranquil Angel was disturbed and galoped 20 m. With only a little left of the race Thai Fighter galoped for 40 m. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. John Bobbit Opal didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race. Results
