The sun was shining on Kannus today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Calix could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Dreaming Technology sprinted to the front.




The leader got disturbed by something and Abbastanza Mai took the lead rather easily.




Abbastanza Mai was still in the lead after 1500m.



Abbastanza Mai looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
