One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Salami found a gap and took the lead. Tripping Girl followed before Rolling Darkness.




Salami was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. A bird flew just in front of Salami who started to galop and lost 30 m.




Rolling Darkness took the lead after 1000m. Salami didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Rolling Darkness was still in the lead after 1500m.



Rolling Darkness sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Salami sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
