It had been raining for several days at Åmål but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.

Glory Hunter could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Dean Of Eden started to galop and lost 50 m. Anders I Jonsson wanted a little to much in the start and Steel Muscle galoped for 50 m. Van Vleck was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Opvakt Side sprinted to the front.

The leader got disturbed by something and Tornado Twister took the lead rather easily. Guardian Angel suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m. Bring The Beat suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.

Zico saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Glory Hunter showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Tornado Twister galloped for 50 m.

Zico didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

With only a little left of the race Bring The Beat galoped for 50 m. Zico sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Sleepy Pie sprinted over the finishline before Van Vleck and Zico.
