One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Miss Nutmeg took the lead after a very quick start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Flickering Moment sprinted to the front.




Flickering Moment clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Flickering Moment followed by Taboca Chick and Perfect Darkness. Lane two Glamorous Hope followed by Miss Nutmeg and Dusty Spring.



Flickering Moment kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Miss Nutmeg sprinted over the finishline before Flickering Moment and Glamorous Hope.
