Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Suonenjoki track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Stretching Biscuit found a gap and took the lead. Zeupollo Ameste followed before Cecina.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Cecina looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Zeupollo Ameste couldn't come out from behind the leader, Stretching Biscuit.

Cecina never caught up with Stretching Biscuit who won. Zeupollo Ameste came third.
