One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Why On Fire tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Soininen that came steaming ahead.




Independant Bullet quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Hard Sword took the lead after 1000m. Emory didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. driver couldn't keep Why On Fire to trotting so they were disqualified.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Hard Sword today. It continued in the lead.




Hard Sword sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Dancing Breath was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Hard Sword kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
