It had been raining for several days at Bjerke but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Beautiful Morning tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Expensive Orchid that came steaming ahead. Tom Erik Solberg wanted a little to much in the start and Dorina galoped for 40 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Dorina sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Beautiful Morning saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



With only a little left of the race Beautiful Morning galoped for 40 m. Dorina litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Dorina. Expensive Orchid came in second. Beautiful Morning became third.
