The weather had been good all week and Åmål was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Flickering Pie took the lead after a very quick start.

The leader got disturbed by something and Well-to-do took the lead rather easily.

Well-to-do looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Flickering Pie made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Pointing Breath.
