One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Scarlet Ruby took the lead after a very quick start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Use Your Illusion who started to galop and lost 20 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Scarlet Ruby today. It continued in the lead.



Scarlet Ruby looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Sekottaja never caught up with Scarlet Ruby who won. Use Your Illusion came third.
