One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Falken was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. A bird flew just in front of Fast Dragon who started to galop and lost 10 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Falken today. It continued in the lead.



Falken galloped way to long and was disqualified. Duquesne Whistle litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






No-one could catch Duquesne Whistle today who won before Fast Dragon and Falken.
