One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Covered In Gold tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Light Blast that came steaming ahead.




Covered In Gold saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Passionata started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Covered In Gold was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Covered In Gold today. It continued in the lead.




Covered In Gold sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Covered In Gold were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Light Blast never caught up with Covered In Gold who won. Passionata came third.
