One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Exolon was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Jörgen Berglund wanted a little to much in the start and Starstruck Top galoped for 30 m.

Starstruck Top quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Exolon took the lead rather easily.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Exolon followed by Power Action and Sneaking Lemonade. Lane two Athletic Hero followed by Running Muscle and Starstruck Top. Power Action started to gallop after 1500m and Heidi Hiltunen had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Denice Rori galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Exolon were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Final standings. 1 Athletic Hero, 2 Power Action, 3 Exolon.
