One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Narcisse took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Sacre Coeur, Huvimeno, Radicchi, Loving Devil, Brave Striker, Narcisse, Powerful Scout, Standard Milk.




Brave Striker looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Narcisse couldn't come out from behind the leader, Sacre Coeur.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sacre Coeur followed by Narcisse and Powerful Scout. Lane two Brave Striker followed by Huvimeno and Radicchi.



Brave Striker speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Narcisse sprinted over the finishline before Brave Striker and Sacre Coeur.
