The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Drammen this day. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Dreaming Scout could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m. Stolen Dog quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Dreaming Scout took the lead after 1000m. Sir Elegance didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 40 m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 30 m. Sir Elegance saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Unknown galloped for 20 m. Unknown was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. With only a little left of the race Unknown galoped for 30 m. With only a little left of the race De Soleil galoped for 40 m. Confident Puma litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch. Bagheera galopped for 50 m on the homestretch. No-one could catch Confident Puma today who won before Sir Elegance and Good Looking Rock. Results
