The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Hagmyren this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Francio Vox tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Lumberjack that came steaming ahead.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Golden Band sprinted to the front. driver couldn't keep Vlug Uitvoering to trotting so they were disqualified.

Golden Band clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Golden Band was still in the lead after 1500m.

Golden Band sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

Golden Band were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

The Awakening made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Nielsen.
