The weather had been good all week and Leangen was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Stepping Princess could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Unknown suddenly started to galop. had to struggle to get Unknown to tror again and succeded after 40 m.




Stepping Princess was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 20 m.




Stepping Princess clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Stepping Princess today. It continued in the lead. Unknown galloped for 50 m.



Unknown was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Stepping Princess looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Unknown tried a little too much on the homestretch and Going Faster started to galopp and lost 50 m.




Going Faster never caught up with Stepping Princess who won. Heifer came third.
