The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Bollnäs today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Seductive Candy could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Funky Knockout quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Moondancer who started to galop and lost 40 m.

Modest Starshine looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Dressed Up couldn't come out from behind the leader, Funky Knockout. Inner Struggle galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Funky Knockout followed by Inner Struggle and Seductive Candy. Lane two Outrun You followed by Taboca Chick and Moondancer.

Funky Knockout looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Outrun You sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
