The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Mantorp this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Rigoli could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Cavelon quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Famous Top looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Golden Tiger couldn't come out from behind the leader, Cavelon.

Golden Tiger looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Barefoot Thought started to gallop after 1500m and Petter Karlsson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Famous Top speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Playing Nutcracker showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Golden Tiger never caught up with Famous Top who won. Rigoli came third.
