One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lieutenant Strategy could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field First Set started to galop and lost 20 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Sad Factory took the lead after 1000m. Beautiful Cookie didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Sad Factory today. It continued in the lead. Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




General Legend put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



With only a little left of the race First Set galoped for 10 m. First Set showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Nine Of Clubs litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






No-one could catch Nine Of Clubs today who won before Lieutenant Strategy and General Legend.
