One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Climbing Tank sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Miss Hobo Lady was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified. When the startcar left the field Rival Andersen started to galop and lost 10 m.




Climbing Tank was in fine shape and held the lead. Close Bullet showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.
