One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Light Wave could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Light Wave was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Casbah Of Algiers sprinted to the front.




The leader got disturbed by something and Light Wave took the lead rather easily. Black Sergeant showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Light Wave today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Casbah Of Algiers gallopped for 30 m.



Light Wave kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
