Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Kalmar track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Pardon Me. Tornado Twister ended up behind the leader. Axel F. got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




Axel F. was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Pitt Cade looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Stopping Lilac couldn't come out from behind the leader, Tornado Twister. Axel F. suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.




Pitt Cade was still in the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Tornado Twister galoped for 10 m. Pitt Cade kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






No-one could catch Genghis Pond today who won before Tornado Twister and Zico.
