One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Sacre Coeur sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Charlette saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Sacre Coeur looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Prince Special couldn't come out from behind the leader, Charlette. Sacre Coeur looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Prince Special suddenly took over the lead. Sacre Coeur was first on the homestretch followed by Prince Special and Gold Coca-cola. Charlette was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Gold Coca-cola won the race after a spectacular finish. Results
