One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Most Shining Star sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.

Advanced Bomb saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Advanced Bomb who started to galop and lost 10 m. Climbing Steel galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Indian Rose sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Lightning Hero looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Assortimento Campioni started to gallop after 1500m and Peter Untersteiner had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Lightning Hero was still in the lead after 2000m.

Lightning Hero sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Zwijgend Zet won the race after a spectacular finish.
