Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Tingsryd track was in top-condition. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Raymond Reddington C.C. tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to In The Heart that came steaming ahead. Loving Motor quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
