The sun was shining on Kalmar and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





General Work tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Cécille that came steaming ahead.




This is the positions after 500m. Nessla Benihana, Voittaja, General Work, Brooks, Cécille, Shooting Dribbler, Judging Agent, Handy Work.




Voittaja took the lead after 1000m. Cécille didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Nessla Benihana suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.




Cécille looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Cécille looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Cécille galop. Cécille lost 30 m. Wilhelm Paal tried a little too much on the homestretch and Brooks started to galopp and lost 40 m. Nessla Benihana galopped for 40 m on the homestretch. Handy Work was disturbed and galopped for 10 m.




Final standings. 1 Voittaja, 2 General Work, 3 Shooting Dribbler.
