The weather had been good all week and Sørlandet was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Gillot could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Perfect Necklace suddenly started to galop. Eirik Høitomt had to struggle to get Perfect Necklace to tror again and succeded after 40 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Misconception, Tough Platinum, Godere Il Cavalcare, Malung Mover, Pinstripe´s California Dream, Perfect Necklace, Sans Xylene, Gillot.

Tough Platinum took the lead after 1000m. Malung Mover didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Malung Mover looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Godere Il Cavalcare gallopped for 20 m.

Tough Platinum suddenly took over the lead.

Modest Wardrobe speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Modest Wardrobe galoped for 60m and was disqualified.

Sans Xylene sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
