It had been raining for several days at Dannero but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Madame Pastis was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Comfortable Boy quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Vuur Van Parel who started to galop and lost 20 m.




Sneaking Sunray sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Sneaking Sunray was still in the lead after 1500m.



Comfortable Boy galloped way to long and was disqualified. Sneaking Sunray sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Vuur Van Parel won. Madame Pastis came in second. Sneaking Sunray caught third place.
