The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Umåker today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Birmingham sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Profiteer saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Solid Ground started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Birmingham looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Motorway City couldn't come out from behind the leader, Profiteer. Solid Ground suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.



With only a little left of the race Pépé Le Moko galoped for 20 m. Motorway City looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Birmingham couldn't come out from behind the leader, Profiteer.

Solid Ground galopped for 20 m on the homestretch. driver couldn't keep Solid Ground to trotting so they were disqualified. Motorway City galopped for 10 m on the homestretch. Pépé Le Moko galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.




Birmingham won the race after a spectacular finish.
