The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Romme today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Abbastanza Mai could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Snowy Bullet quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Black Flag took the lead after 1000m. Snowy Bullet didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Black Flag followed by Rational General and Snowy Bullet. Lane two Ferocious Steel followed by Abbastanza Mai and Oregon Johnny.



Black Flag galloped way to long and was disqualified. Ferocious Steel suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Rational General sprinted over the finishline before Abbastanza Mai and Snowy Bullet.
