Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Hagmyren track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Danforth Avenue took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Calming Speed started to galop and lost 10 m.

Danforth Avenue was in fine shape and held the lead. Black Sergeant started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

The leader got disturbed by something and Riboud took the lead rather easily. Heavenly Love galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Riboud was still in the lead after 1500m.

With only a little left of the race Running Movement galoped for 50 m. Riboud were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Danforth Avenue sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
