It had been raining for several days at Halmstad but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Gold Braveheart could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Venus Pegasos quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Gold Braveheart sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Wandering Lovebreaker suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.




Gold Braveheart was still in the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Madijo Mila Ameste galoped for 50 m. Gold Braveheart sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Wilhelm Paal tried a little too much on the homestretch and Wandering Lovebreaker started to galopp and lost 10 m.




Wild Maid made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Gold Braveheart.
