Start List
The weather had been good all week and Lahti was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Rapide Du Bloc was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Heavy Valley quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Heavy Valley was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Malung Mover galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Focused Lieutenant saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. With only a little left of the race Leonardo Opal galoped for 40 m. Focused Lieutenant looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch. Final standings. 1 Rapide Du Bloc, 2 Hoping Stone, 3 Focused Lieutenant. Results
