The weather had been good all week and Maribor was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Golden Nebraska could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Green Debate Law started to galop and lost 20 m.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.

Relaxing Striker sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Fenrir Frank was disturbed and galoped 10 m.

Relaxing Striker was still in the lead after 1500m.

Chris Kirkland Justice was first on the homestretch followed by Golden Nebraska and Allan Cherry.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Green Debate Law galop. Green Debate Law lost 40 m.

Allan Cherry sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
